Family Pets

Happy Friday Family! I hope you have fun plans for the weekend. I thought I would post pictures of our family pets. Please email me pictures of you and your pets and I will post them here for all to enjoy.

Here is a photo of our Sammie and Lady. Both are getting long in the tooth and I'm saddened to know we won't have them to enjoy much longer. Both are rescues and have lived with us a long time. Lady (left) is 16 years old and Sammie is 11 years old. Sammie is blind now with glaucoma and has alot of health issues.

Abbey

I am also including a picture of Gideon's dog Abbey which he rescued from a shelter. They love romping on the beach.

Grandma

Grandma looked surprised at something. I remember that big L shaped kitchen. We made noodles, pies and fried chicken. Washed dishes by hand, no dishwasher on the farm.

I have posted a picture of the farm house in South Whitley that Cousin Sue kindly emailed to me a while back. Does that bring back memories, even though I never saw the farm in winter, only in summertime.

My hope is that because we live so far spread out it is easy to lose contact with one another that this blog will keep us up to date with what is happening with your side of the family between reunions.
